Our projects

Since its establishment, LinkWater Projects has delivered four major bulk water pipeline projects-close to 200km of underground pipeline and associated infrastructure to a drought-prone part of the nation. Together with our alliances, we have won more than 30 state, national and international awards for our achievements.

By June 2010, pipelines constructed by LinkWater Projects had moved 50,000 megalitres of water to areas most in need. They are an integral part of the SEQ Water Grid.

LinkWater Projects is currently concentrating all efforts on the delivery of a further two pipeline projects in various stages of planning and construction. These projects will ultimately deliver another 80km of additional water pipelines for SEQ.

Once constructed, the majority of the pipelines are handed over to LinkWater, the Queensland Bulk Water Transport Authority, to operate and maintain.

LinkWater controls 535km of newly constructed and existing potable bulk water pipelines and associated works.
