Welcome to LinkWater Projects

LinkWater Projects and LinkWater share the same vision to become an effective partner in delivering water security to South East Queensland (SEQ).

LinkWater Projects is the Government's Special Purpose Vehicle for the design and construction of pipelines in SEQ.  The Queensland Bulk Water Authority, trading as LinkWater, is responsible for the operation and maintenance of potable bulk water pipelines in SEQ.

LinkWater Projects originated as the Southern Regional Water Pipeline Company Pty Ltd.  It was established in 2006 by five regional councils and SEQWater as a regional initiative for water management in the area between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Ownership changed to the State Government in 2007 when the government assumed responsibility for bulk water assets.
